Dr. Gerd Kortemeyer received his master's degree in physics from the University of Hannover, Germany, and his doctorate in physics from Michigan State University. He has a joint appointment between DSME and the Lyman-Briggs School of Science, where he both teaches physics and does research on the use of technology in post-secondary science education.
