Jungeun completed a master's degree in Mathematics at MSU in 2007, and continued that fall in the DSME mathematics education doctoral program. Her current research interest focuses on how students understand the terms limit, continuity, and derivative in calculus in Advanced Placement calculus in high school, or calculus and lower level real analysis in the university setting. She is conducting comparison research between U.S. and Korean students on derivative.
