DSME Library

The DSME Library is located in room B2 in North Kedzie Laboratory. It has journals, DSME Masters theses, mathematics and science textbooks, and many other books.

The DSME library subscribes to several science education journals. These journals' Web sites allow you to search their content for the last few years. Some recent issues of mathematics education journals are also available.

DSME Master's Thesis Abstracts

The Division of Science and Mathematics Education offers a master's of science degree in both the biological and the physical sciences for teachers with secondary teaching credentials. Completing the requirements for this degree program requires that the candidate submit a Master's Thesis describing the results of a research study usually involving the creation of a new laboratory exercise or other teachable material and teaching it in his or her classroom. The titles and abstracts of all Master's Thesis are available for examination in Room B2 North Kedzie Laboratory and are provided at this Web Site for your information. They are grouped into those covering the Biological Sciences and those covering the Physical Sciences and listed chronologically by the year in which they were submitted.
